[Issue 7] Agitated by Angst: Self Care Overcomes

This is the story about Hope Ripple, aka The Healer, an elementary school teacher who is living with panic attacks. She is the designated teacher for sick patients at the children's hospital. Her powers are Healing hands and X-ray vision. This story will reference the research on "A cross-sectional examination of factors associated with compassion satisfaction and compassion fatigue across healthcare workers in an academic medical center" (Burn-out). In this comic book, Hope is burned-out at work (and sleepy from taking care of her newborn). She must pause to take care of herself so that she can take care of her students who are sick in the hospital. She must find relief for her panic attacks in order to be healthy herself so that she can be strong to support the children at the hospital and her family. And maybe, just maybe, it takes some superhero children to help her heal.
