Substance use disorders occur when recurring use of alcohol and/or drugs, including tobacco, cause significant impairment such as health problemsdisability, and failure to meet major responsibilities at work, school, or home. It can be hard to deal with addiction on your own that's why we're here to help.

Tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable death in the United States and around the world. Every year more than 8,000 Kentuckians die of illnesses caused by smoking. The good news is that tobacco use, although a chronic addictive behavior, is treatable.

Long Acting Injectables

People with severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, face many challenges related to accessing community mental health services and adherence to medication regimen. The advent of Long‐Acting Injectable antipsychotics (LAIs) promises to increase compliance with medication therapy. The purpose of this study is to examine retrospective and prospective data to understand the impact of the use of LAIs among people living with schizophrenia who are Medicaid beneficiaries.
