SBIRT Certification Training

KVC Kentucky hosted a Screening Brief Intervention and Referral for Treatment (SBIRT) workshop on June 27, 2019. Dr. Dianna Inman provided this comprehensive, integrated, public health approach to the delivery of early intervention and treatment services. SBIRT is a screening tool used during discussions with individuals living with substance use disorders, tobacco use, and individuals at higher levels of risk. Participants learned how numerous settings provide excellent opportunities for early intervention with at-risk substance users, tobacco users, and other at-risk individuals.
