The Behavioral Health Wellness Environments for Living and Learning (BH WELL) research team participated in RECHARGE with POWER hosted by The Prevention, Outreach, and Wellness Educational Resources unit. The event took place on March 1, 2023 from 3pm-5pm at the Gatton Student Center Social Staircase.

Previously known as Spring Break Bash, RECHARGE with POWER launched as a rebranded Spring event to share wellbeing resources with students. In collaboration with Aramark, POWER provided free food and t-shirts for all students that complete the Wellbeing passport upon check-in.

Attendees participated in BH WELL's gratitude challenge, learned more about behavioral health resources, and connected with our team! About 75 students stopped by BH WELL's table and spoke to our team to learn more about what we do! Attendees were invited to follow BH WELL social media (@ukbhwell on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram). Following BH WELL is a the easiest way to learn about giveaways and new, always free resources.

Prevention, Outreach, and Wellness Education Resource (POWER) educates, empowers, and coaches students to make healthy decisions while providing leadership and advocacy for health-enhancing policy. Through innovation and creativity, they connect students to shared wellness information and campus resources helping students achieve their academic goals and personal well-being.

BH WELL is a mental and behavioral health research team housed in the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. We partner with groups like POWER to support and encourage prioritization of self-care as well as mental and behavioral health. BH WELL exists to promote behavioral health and wellness among individuals facing behavioral health challenges.
