The Behavioral Health Wellness Environments for Living and Learning (BH WELL) research team presented virtually at the National Conference on Tobacco OR Health (NCTOH) to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 28-30, 2022.

Per the NCTOH conference website, they are one of the largest, long-standing gatherings for top United States tobacco control professionals. The conference examined the latest evidence in tobacco control and how to apply current research findings and best practices in tobacco control policy, advocacy, and programs. It also explored practical ways to improve tobacco control programs and activities across the United States.

BH WELL was awarded the Highly Attended Session seal for their presentations during the ​Behavioral Health and Tobacco Cessation panel. During the panel, they presented on "Promoting Specialized Tobacco Treatment Training within Kentucky Community Mental Health Centers" and "Utilization of Animated Treatment Scenarios to Enhance Training on Tobacco Treatment Delivery." 

The National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) works with a steering committee of partner organizations, foundations, and agencies. It also incorporates expertise of program committees. This unique professional community creates a rich environment that maximizes content sharing while elevating opportunities for networking.
