2026 Practice and Research Initiatives Showcase at Eastern State Hospital (PRISE) Discovering Unique Approaches to Integrated Care
The ESH Research Council hosted their annual Practice and Research Initiatives Showcase at Eastern State Hospital (PRISE) on March 12th, 2026 from 9AM-3:30PM EST. Attendees participated in person and remotely via ZOOM. This year’s showcase focused on Discovering Unique Approaches to Integrated Care. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the innovative research and practice initiatives that strengthen patient outcomes and staff support at ESH.
The event included keynote speakers along with poster and podium presentations. A people's choice award for the best poster was awarded to Jabdiel Rosario-Ramirez with the Healthy KY Initiative for the winning poster "From Access to Action: Expanding QPR Suicide Prevention Training Across Kentucky." The winning podium presentation was Rhiane Shupe's "Health Care Stigmatization of Substance Misuse: Barriers to the Therapeutic Alliance Between Providers and Patients."
