On Wednesday April 2nd, 2025, the UK College of Nursing hosted the Kentucky Health Policy Conference: A Focus on Substance Use Disorder. Topics included:

  • Peer support and recovery housing legislation
  • Best practices for spending opioid settlement funds
  • Integrating tobacco treatment in substance use disorder treatment settings
  • Tobacco co-use with alcohol and cannabis
  • Current state of the evidence on cannabis use

This conference was followed by the 2025 KY Tobacco Control Conference the following day, April 3rd, also at the Campbell House.
