Dr. Zim Okoli Selected as Fellow of American Academy of Nursing
Congratulations to Zim Okoli Ph.D., MPH, MSN, PMHNP-BC, APRN, NCTTP, FAAN for being selected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. This milestone accomplishment follows years of evidence-based practice and research to improve access and care for individuals living with mental and behavioral health challenges. Dr. Okoli is also an expert in tailored tobacco dependence treatment for the behavioral health population.
Fellows are selected through a competitive, rigorous application process. This year’s 225 fellows hailed from 38 U.S. states and 18 countries. In total, the Academy is comprised of more than 2,800 fellows who represent nursing’s most accomplished leaders in policy, research, administration, practice, and academia.
The 2021 inductees were recognized on the final day of the annual Health Policy Conference, October 9th, 2021. BH WELL thanks Dr. Okoli for his contributions and impact to advance mental and behavioral health.
