Graduate Research Assistant

Yang Li is a PhD student in the UK Department of Statistics. As a Graduate Research Assistant for BH WELL, she works on the Medicaid-funded project, Expanded Tele-Mental Health Services in Kentucky Behavioral Health Settings: Effect on Providers Delivering Care to Beneficiaries with Mental & Behavioral Health Challenges. Yang provides support for the statistical analysis of Medicaid data in order to provide the Kentucky Department for Medicaid Services with important information on health services delivered by Medicaid healthcare providers during the expanded telehealth services. This important work measures the impact of the expansion on the continuity of care for beneficiaries after discharge from a psychiatric hospitalization.
