Jarrah Al-Kayed

Graduate Research Assistant

Jarrah Al-Kayed is originally from Jordan and has extensive experience as a psychiatric nurse in rehabilitation centers internationally, where he treated individuals with psychotic symptoms related to substance use disorders. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing at the University of Kentucky, with a research interest in substance abuse treatment programs. His work specifically explores the integration of physical activity to reduce risky alcohol use among healthcare professionals, particularly nurses. Jarrah serves on the BH WELL team as a research assistant. He is also a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
