RAPID June 2019

Compassion is the ability to have concern for the suffering of others. It guides us to better understand our fellows, but more than that, it drives us to seek ways to alleviate their suffering. The history of behavioral health is a history of compassionate innovation. We are always seeking better ways to improve the lives of those we serve: to put our compassion into action. Like all creative pursuits, it requires the ability to look for novel solutions, to take the perspective of others, and to believe that something new and better is possible.
