Congratulations to Kylie Pemberton, Behavioral Health Wellness Environments for Living and Learning Graduate Research Assistant, for graduating with a Master’s in Educational Psychology.

She has been with BH WELL since Fall 2020 when she began her program. Kylie was introduced to BH WELL through a friend, Bassema Abu-Farsakh, who also works with our team. The work at BH WELL interested Kylie because she has always wanted to be a student advisor and liked that she would be able to interact with students in this job. During her time at BH WELL, she has served as the Communication Coordinator. She has authored news stories, partner spotlights, videos, written blogs, and provided website support in this role. In addition, she has participated in research recruitment, enrollment, and data collection. Heather Robertson, BH WELL Director of Executive Operations, calls Kylie “a bright and shining light on the team. She consistently comes to work with a smile and a willingness to support team needs. She came as a strong employee and has developed professionally during her time with our team. I think UK advising should grab her; but, wherever she lands an advising role, Kylie’s students will be supported by one of the most caring, committed workers in existence.”

BH WELL Executive Director, Dr. Zim Okoli, shares, "Kylie has been such a delight to have on the BH WELL team! We will sorely miss her boundless optimism and infectious enthusiasm. As she enters the next phase of her career, we wish her all the best, knowing that her next place of employment will be blessed by her presence! Thank you for being part of our BH WELL family, Kylie!"

Congratulations Kylie and best wishes as you work to make a difference in students’ lives and career paths!
