Congratulations to Hunter McKenzie, BH WELL Project Assistant, for graduating with a BA in Architecture! Hunter began work with BH WELL his sophomore year and has continued with the team through graduation. He says he was drawn to work for BH WELL because of the great people and the opportunity to make a difference. As a project assistant, Hunter assisted with graphic design, web development, survey development and data collection.

BH WELL Director, Dr. Zim Okoli, adds “Hunter has added a unique element to BH WELL as an architectural student; and we’ve all benefited from this contribution. His dedication to several aspects of data collection and designing parts of the website has been a ‘silent’ but discernable aspect of the quality of his work. I am truly thankful for all the years he has worked with us.”

Hunter’s time as a project assistant helped further his interests in humanitarian design and, particularly, design focused on the health sector which he believes is an under-appreciated group within the field. In the fall, Hunter will pursue a Master of Architecture degree at Columbia University in New York City.

Congratulations Hunter! Best of luck!
